Here is a bit about my experience:

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in individual and family therapy, specializing in children, teens, and chronic illness. I hold close to a decade of experience in child welfare, pediatric healthcare, and mental health settings.

Education:

  • Master of Science degree in Social Work from Columbia University.

  • Master of Science degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.

  • Doctoral student in Public Health (DrPH).

Relevant experience:

  • Trained in evidence-based interventions including CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Bilingual (English and Spanish) and Certified Medical Interpreter.

  • Skilled presenter and speaker on childhood trauma, diabetes support, and emotional regulation.

  • Experience moderating and presenting at professional conferences focused on pediatric diabetes and mental health
