I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in individual and family therapy, specializing in children, teens, and chronic illness. I hold close to a decade of experience in child welfare, pediatric healthcare, and mental health settings.
Education:
Master of Science degree in Social Work from Columbia University.
Master of Science degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
Doctoral student in Public Health (DrPH).
Relevant experience:
Trained in evidence-based interventions including CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Bilingual (English and Spanish) and Certified Medical Interpreter.
Skilled presenter and speaker on childhood trauma, diabetes support, and emotional regulation.
Experience moderating and presenting at professional conferences focused on pediatric diabetes and mental health
